Tik tok selling user data to Chinese government

In 2019 articles surfaced that were written about TikTok collecting extensive data about its users, including their device information and location data, and sharing it with the Chinese government.

In US all federal employees are prohibited to use Tik Tok. Canada and United Kingdom also banned Tik Tok. Many countries decided on some form of ban of TikTok on government-issued devices, here's a list of them. France extended the ban to other "recreational" apps like Twitter and Instagram.
